Disneyland and California Adventure are a lot of fun, but after a day(s) of walking around and waiting in line, it's nice to take a break. Anaheim's surrounding areas have plenty of other attractions to offer visitors and residents alike. 

On your travel or rest day, take some time to visit Downtown Disney! You can find excellent souvenir shopping as well as amazing eateries. Our top choices for shopping are The World of Disney and the Lego Store. For dinner, we recommend the Jazz Kitchen. Plus, they serve some of the best food around, including delicious beignets- better than those at the Mint Julep! If you're in the mood for a sweet treat, we recommend trying The CrazyShake Window at Black Tap, hand scooped ice cream at the Salt and Straw or a decadent cupcake at Sprinkles.
