Disney Resort hotels are separated into four categories, based on price, amenities, and proximity to a Disney World Theme Park: Disney Value Resorts, Disney Moderate Resorts, Disney Deluxe Resorts, and Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts.
Disney Value Resorts
These resorts offer great pools, food courts, and affordable rooms with magical Disney theming.
The five hotels in this category are Disney’s All Star Movies Resort, Disney's All Star Music Resort, Disney’s All Star Sports Resort, Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, and Disney’s Pop Century Resort. Disney's Art of Animation Resort is recommended for adventurers that need a little more room. This resort features family suites with 3 separate sleeping areas, 2 bathrooms and a kitchenette available.
Disney Moderate Resorts
These resorts have more space and additional amenities such as added dining options, and pools with water slides.
The resorts in this category are Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - Riverside, Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter, and The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness & Campground.
Disney Deluxe Resorts & Villas
These resorts are for adventurers interested in the highest level of Disney service. With elaborate themed pools, deluxe rooms , a wide array of signature dining, and recreational activities visitors will find high-end service in every detail. Accommodations also include traditional Bell Services.
There are eight Disney Deluxe Resorts, all located close to one of the Theme Parks. The four near Magic Kingdom® Park are Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Adventurers can be transported around the Disney World by motor coach service, monorail or ferryboat.
Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts offer a variety of accommodations for adventurers in groups of up to 12.
Disney also has several hotels on their property to accommodate visitors as well. Hotels and Resorts both provide lodging to guests, however resorts typically offer more amenities.

Good Neighbor hotels offer comfortable accommodations for a great value, and feature some of the most widely known national hotel brands with over 50 different hotels, adventurers have a wide variety to choose from.

Good Neighbor Hotels must meet the following standards:
Have a Guest Services desk to assist Guests with last-minute needs
Provide transportation to the Walt Disney World® Theme Parks
Each hotel must maintain at least a two diamond AAA rating
